Ultraprobe 2000
UE Systems Ultraprobe 2000UE Systems’ Ultraprobe 2000 is an ultrasonic inspection instrument. The Ultraprobe 2000 works in simple and sophisticated leak detection applications. UE Systems designed user-friendly features into the Ultraprobe 2000 to make it easy-to-use and functional in the field. Features include:
  • Frequency tuning – allows the operator to select the specific frequency of a problem sound. Selecting a specific frequency has the added benefit of reducing interference from ultrasonic signals generated by nearby equipment.
  • Bi-modal meter switch – Logarithmic metering for instant leak detection and fault detection response and Linear mode for bearing and mechanical monitoring, which accepts a wide range of sounds that is averaged for stabilized readings
  • Ten turn sensitivity adjust dial – helps operators detect subtle mechanical and leak problems as well as focus in on gross signals
  • Trisonic scanning module – patented transducer has a phased array of three transducers delivering sensitivity previously not attainable
