Sentry Filtration
Cartridge filtration stops dirt, bacteria, fungus, metal, and other particles from contaminating process streams protecting final products and equipment cost-effectively. Sentry's filtration products include:

String Wound Filters
String Wound filter cartridges have excellent chemical compatibility, are non-leaching (no extractables), and operate at high flow rates with low pressure drops.
Resin Bonded Filters
resin bonded filters Sentry resin bonded filter cartridges use a unique two-stage filtration design that maximizes particle removal and prolongs service life in viscous fluid filtration applications. An outer prefilter wrap increases cartridge strength and eliminates residual debris associated with conventional, machined, resin bonded cartridges.
Polypropylene pleated filters
Polypropylene pleated filters incorporate a combination of melt blown polypropylene and thermally bonded media to provide high surface area, surfactant-free, and non-fiber releasing filtration. All-polypropylene construction offers chemical resistance to acids, bases, salts, and most organic solvents.
Extended Life Nominal Filters
Sentry extended life nominal filter cartridges are thermally bonded for extended life. Contaminant migration is virtually eliminated by utilizing a continuous fiber matrix construction.
Pleated, Absolute Rated Polypropylene filters
Pleated, Absolute Rated Polypropylene
Filters Sentry’s Pleated, Absolute Rated Polypropylene filters provide high efficiency, high purity filtration for even the most critical applications. The proprietary melt blown media are rigidly controlled for consistent performance. Sentry polypropylene cartridges are produced without adhesives that can potentially contaminate process fluids.
Nylon membrane filters
Sentry nylon membrane filters provide absolute rated efficiency with low extractable levels for critical process fluid systems. The naturally hydrophilic nylon membrane cartridges require no pre-wetting and are ready to use in high purity water systems. Nylon membrane filters are suitable for most solvents and applications where biological stabilization and clarification of beverages are critical.
High Purity Cartridges
Sentry High Purity Cartridges, made of pleated polypropylene microfiber, provide high efficiency and high purity filtration. The high efficiency of the all-polypropylene filter makes it an ideal membrane prefilter or cost-effective alternative to membrane cartridges in a wide range of demanding applications.
Polyethersulfone Membrane Filters
Sentry Polyethersulfone membrane filter cartridges are designed to provide superior flow and high particle removal efficiency. The polyethersulfone and polypropylene construction provides broad compatibility for a variety of chemical and process applications found in high purity and general industry.
Polyolefin Filters
Sentry’s Polyolefin Filter Cartridges Sentry’s Polyolefin Filter cartridges are the most economical high strength filter cartridges available. Featuring an integral rigid thermally bonded construction, Polyolefin filters provide consistent filtration for a wide variety of fluids. The fixed pore structure acts as a sieve-like particle “classification” filter for high solids coatings and slurries, allowing product to pass while stopping large agglomerates and contaminants.
PTFE membrane filters
Sentry all-Teflon PTFE membrane filters offer exceptional flow capability and particle retention performance. Sentry all-Teflon filters offer the broadest fluid compatibility available and are recommended for aggressive chemical and high temperature applications. All PTFE/PFA filter cartridges are processed to meet the filtration requirements of ultra-high purity liquids used in advanced electronics manufacturing.Sentry all-Teflon PTFE Membrane Filters
PTFE/Polypropylene Membrane Filters
Sentry PTFE membrane filters offer exceptional flow capability and particle retention performance. The PTFE membrane with polypropylene support construction provides broad chemical compatibility with low extractable levels. As a lower cost alternative to all-Teflon, the Sentry PTFE/Polypropylene filters are suitable for less aggressive chemical applications and most venting and gas applications.
Thermally Bonded Filters
Sentry’s Thermally Bonded filter manufacturing process utilizes the highest quality proprietary media, closely monitored for uniformity and consistency. Thermally Bonded Absolute Rated filters offer longer cartridge life and virtually eliminate contaminant migration by utilizing a continuous fiber matrix construction.

Compressor and Blower Intake Air Systems
Dollinger manufactures a line of standard compressor and blower intake air systems. Custom designed systems are also available. IPS works with you to design and select air intake systems that are both cost-effective and offer the necessary level of protection. Intake air systems remove dirt, dust and other particles from intake air before it can inflict internal damage to expensive compressors and blower systems.
AI-128-V Two Stage Air Intake Systems
Dollinger Compressor Air Intake Filtration System Dollinger’s AI-128-V is a two-stage filtration system that offers maximum protection. Systems can be sized to meet nearly any scfm requirement. AI-128-V systems use VE-157 panel pre-filters and MVP 502 panel final filters.
  • VE-157 – Extended surface area panel filters. VE-157 panel filters are 2’’ deep compared to most competitive panels that are only 1½’’ deep. VE-157 panel filters can be cleaned with low-pressure water (<30 psi) and reused after being properly dried.
  • MVP 502 final panel filters feature a proprietary water resistant fiber glass medium. MVP 502 panels remove 99.97% of particles 2µm and larger. The standard size is 24’’ x 24’’ x 11½’’ MVP 502 panels are capable of flow rates to 3000 scfm; a 20% capacity increase compared to standard panels.
    AI-187-V Single Stage
    Dollinger manufactures 18 standard AI-187-V models to meet flow ranges from 3,000 to 72,000 scfm. AI-187-V air intake systems feature rugged housings designed for outdoor installations. Weather-hoods are provided as standard equipment and all surfaces are painted with blue hammertone enamel for durability. AI-187-V air intake systems come with panel elements that provide 99% retention of particles 10µm and larger.

    StayNew Spin Filters
    Dollinger StayNew spin filters protect compressors and blowers from large contaminants. StayNew spin filters work best in extremely dirty environments where contaminant loading is a problem for conventional air-intake filtration. StayNew can operate between –40°F to 200°F and is safe for food service (21 CFR 177.1520). StayNew spin filters remove 98% of solid particles 15µm and larger from an air stream.
  • Model VE-616-1220 twin module is nominally rated at 1450 scfm. Flow rates to 2800 scfm
  • Model VE-616-1210 rated capacity of 725 scfm

    Compressed Air System Filters
    GP-146 Particulate Filters
    Dollinger GP-146 particulate filters remove final traces of dirt and other particulate from compressed air streams. Filter elements are designed to maximize effective filtration area, while delivering low differential pressure and long service life. Features include:

  • Materials of construction: carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Radial fin filter element. Filter integrity ensured to a 50 psid differential pressure

    GP-198 Coalescing Filters
    Dollinger GP-198 coalescing filters are optimized for use in compressed air or gas streams. GP-198 coalescers remove entrained oil, waster mist, and other liquids and solid particles. Features include:

  • Materials of construction: carbon steel and stainless steel
  • Convolute design provides a large coalescing / filtration surface area
  • Media: Multi-layer borosilicate glass fiber and a pre-filter layer supported by screen both upstream and downstream

    Liquid Filters and Mist Eliminators
    LL-142 Liquid Filters
    Dollinger Radial Pleat Filters Dollinger LL-142 liquid filters are designed to provide the best filtration area for a given vessel size unlike conventional multiple cartridge filters. In addition to Dollinger’s standard range of filters customized filter designs are available. Features include:

    Mist Eliminators
    Mist eliminators can replace coalescer filters in both lube oil systems and compressed air systems. A mist eliminator takes full advantage of Brownian motion with its laminar flow design. A mist eliminator removes up to 99.5% of all particulate from a compressed air or lube oil vent stream. Advantages of mist eliminator compared to a traditional coalescer filter include:
  • Low pressure drop (0.5 psi "wet") reduces operating costs
  • Long Element life nearly eliminates filter maintenance (up to 10 year filter life)
